    i have a FE92HS (japanese model)
    my queston is how can i make the keys work(brightness)fine
    help appreciated

    I assume you have installed a fresh Windows Installation.
    Go to Sony homepage and find the ACPI drivers for your laptop.

    You should see a Fn key on your keyboard that is the same color as the picture keys on your Function keys (F1, F2, F5 etc.) You have to press and hold the Fn key and then use the Hotkeys. For example F1 doesn't do anything for me right now, but if I hold the Fn key and press F1 by LCD screen will lighten and darken by one step either way. Hope this helps. You also must have HID service running for windows for this to work.
