    hi...
    ive got a sony vaio VGN N11S/W and recently smashed a screen on it. ive been using external monitor for a while but got bored of it now and cant take it anywhere with me.. i saw a very cheap broken Sony vaio FS 485B laptop that i would be interested in buying coz the screen is working ok.. so what i want to know is would i be able to use the screen from Sony FS 485b on my Sony Vaio VGN N11S/W... the screen size is same 1280 x 800 ( WXGA ) but dont know if connectors are the same and would it be compatible to work on my laptop.. ive tried to google it but cant find anywhere screen models... any help will do...

    As a word of advice, never buy broken electronics. You never know exactly "how broken" they are until you have them in you hands, and you've already payed.

    well the mainboard is broken but the screen is fine.. thats all i need...
