    hi

    i was woundering does anyone have the Disassemble guide for sz640??
    and anyone know where i can get a back cover for the lcd becase mine has a crack in it and also my plam-rest has dent in it to...so where could i get the a replacment part for it?

    p.s. i dont have a warranty for it. so i cant send it to sony to get it fixed.

    The Sony slogan says "LIKE.NO.OTHER". This is no further from the truth.

    You can still get it repaired even without warranty, just that you'll have to pay for labour and parts.

    Even if you have a warranty, Sony will still probably charge you for the damaged palmrest (due to careless handling, not manufacturing defect). As for the LCD-lid crack, maybe.

    I suggest you send it back, as it is made "LIKE.NO.OTHER", so to ensure all will be done well.
