    Hi,

    I just got my new TZ and im new to vista

    One problem i have is that it takes ages to delete or copy files

    for example i wanted to empty my recycle bin of 2 gb, takes like 15 mins! helps pls thx

    Its due to vista. Due a search on that, lots of people have reported that problem with many different computers and laptops.

    Supposedly sp1 will fix it.

    Does anyone know how to configure what the TZ does when i close the lid? thx

    I am not sure off hand but i would assume right clicking the battery icon next to the time will give you power management settings.

    correct. you need to click on the battery management settings, and in there, you will see options for what you want when you close the lid, press the power button....etc.
