    Sony Vao VGN FE880E/H

Suggestions to solve slow pickup of wifi home or office router coming out of standby state. Won't pick up home router at 30 feet distance. No problem with earlier Sony 2004 model. Can re-boot and about half the time, there is a long time to pick up router, when signal is quite strong?

    Thanks

There's no solution for this problem atm. It's less Vaio and more Vista problem: install the latest Intel driver.

My Vista is fine. Not definatley Vista problem.

    Could be:
    -- router
    -- interference
    -- wi-fi driver
    -- or vista

    -- or the hardware
