This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    so, i've orderd the CTO tz model with sony's fresh start.

    the question is, does fresh start still leave behind bloatware? basically, i want to know if i'll still need to sit down and clean off a bunch of crapware or if i can use it out of the box? i'll probably stick with vista because most people have said they get great performance with it after cleaning off all the extra junk.

    anyone bought a laptop with the fresh start option?

    From what I understand it will remove all trial software.
