I noticed that sonystyle.com changed the wording on their accidental damage coverage a few weeks ago. The wording of the items now read similar to this:

"3 Year Onsite Service Plan plus Accidental Damage from Handling [$299.99]"

    Accidental Damage "from handling" ?????

Does this mean that not ALL accidental damage is now covered?
Seems like they have diminished the list of covered "perils" on this policy quite a bit, if that is indeed the case.

Interesting. I got the accidental damage protection late last year and I remember it said protection from spills, etc. I can't find that now. I assume they still abide by the terms under which you originally bought the protection...

It does look like they've reduced protection. A little shady, if you ask me.

Oh yeah, they were doing 3 years @ $199.99 when I got mine. Kind of nice.
