Sonystyle online chat representatives told me that only online dealers offer the international warranty. Who among the authorized online dealers listed in sonystyle.com offer this type of warranty?

    thanks.

As far as i am aware the TT and the BZ range only offer the international warranty as standard now in the US. With the rate of exchange at what it is it does not make it worthwhile for me to buy a TT from the US. The WWAN also most likely won't work outside the US either.

If you buy one of these notebooks from a retailer and register it online you should be covered for 1 year in the countries that Sony state.

If you only want to buy your notebook from an authorised retailer then you would need to buy a laptop from a retailer that is on this list.

To my knowlegde no other lines in the US carry international warranty than those laptops i mentioned above.

If you want to buy a CS in the US and then take it abroad then you won't get any warranted international coverage from Sony. Of course though you will be covered within the US.

well, if you buy a US Z5** equivalent in Singapore, it comes with one year international warranty as part of the package.
