    sony no longer carrying sz160 - my brother manages one of the "retail stores"

    i confirmed why the sz160's aren't in stock anymore at most retails stores, sony is not ordering the sz160's anymore or stocking them. they are going to be getting the sz170's and sz180's in stock this week. in fact picking up sz180 tomorrow. i'll keep you up to date on how it compares, thank god i sold my sz120, sold it for 1450 it was one day old, guy got a sweet deal from a local college, felt good to pass on the savings

    What are the prices for each system? So there will be no more sz160's coming from Sony?

    Called a few stores and they all told me that they dont carry sz170/80.

    Most told me that they should receive more sz160's by the end of this week.

    What store are you picking your sz180 up at?

    i'm not sure this is true. sony just got the 160's and sonystyle shipped me one today. the 170/180 may come out but later

    is it normal for sony to replace a model that fast? what does it mean the 160 sold out? why not make more?

    SZ170 and SZ180 are going to replace the SZ160. The 170 and 180 have the Cingular EDGE thing.
