    i bought a sony fw series notebook not too long ago. But recently when i turn on my wireless, the laptop says its on, but the light does not turn on. I was wondering if anyone has a solution for this?

    Does the wireless card still function correctly otherwise?

    not only does the light not turn on. but the wireless doesnt work as well.

    Yeah thats what namaiki really wanted to know. Yes thats a problem and you should definitely take it back to Sony even if you don't intend on using the wireless in the immediate future.
