Neither Sony nor Dell offer any 15" notebooks with LED backlit displays. They both offer 13" (and smaller) notebooks with this feature though. Currently the only 15" notebook with LED backlighting is the Macbook Pro.

According to Sinstoic, the Dell XPS 1530 will have an 1440x900 LED in the January to March 2008 timeframe. That is the only 15 inch LED planned for the 1530.

Perhaps the same LED display will be introduced at the same timeframe for the Dell Inspiron 1525 and 1526 (which will probably replace the 1520 and 1521 on January 6) and the 15 inch Dell Vostro.
