    hi to all nbr....
    i got a problem here on sony pcg-6h4l regarding on the display,,,,
    the problem goes this way... when i press the power buton you can still go to bios/cmos set-up...i try to set to boot on cd because i want it to reformat... but if you exit already to the bios..i can see only blinking dash in five seconds. after that no more reaction or effects.. only a black screen you see...

    is there anybody teach me hows the set-up...

    I have the same exact problem. I have a VGN-SZ110B. The Sony Logo is displayed but then a blank screen. This happened at the same time my battery completely died. It will not charge anymore, so the computer dies as soon as I unplug the laptop. I am going to go buy a new battery today. I'll let you know what happens. How well does your battery work?
