I assume that you are referring to the screen in the Dell XPS 15? Which Sony laptop screen are you comparing it to?

Yeah the b+rgled would be on the dell xps 15. sony premium display are the ones found on the f21/f22/f23 series. thinking about getting myself either one.

Used both, both are almost similar in quality. Can't go wrong with both.

Any certain colourspace that you need to use? What's the general use of the computer? The Dell would seem to have better battery life if you need it.

Maybe you can try go to a Sony store and see the computer in person. Hopefully they will have one on display and you could have a look at the display and get a feel of the keyboard and trackpad.

Sick I'll probably go to best buy tomorrow and check it out since they have it there too. Can't wait to upgrade, or maybe I'm just wasting $900 dollars. Can you type well on the chiclet keyboard?

I've got a Vaio Z1 (13" screen, no numpad) with chiclet keyboard. The keyboard is alright, though I think I liked the keyboard on my previous laptop a bit better.

When I try a keyboard out, what I like to check for is snappiness in the keys when they are going up and down. When it feels too soft/spongy when you press a key before it hits the bottom, it's harder to type fast.

By the way, just curious but what model is your current laptop?

I think I have a lenovo u460. It has a i3 ULV processor 1.3Ghz I can't even play heroes of newerth without turning off antivirus protection lol. And they keyboard is so bad this must've been the worst laptop I ever bought. Once the vaio come I can finally use a normal computer again, maybe start on some new programming projects. What do you mostly use your Z1 for is that the really portable model with the discrete graphic plugin?
