Hey everyone. I want to format my new Fe890 and I burnt out the recovery dvds. When I install it using those cds, do I have a choice to only install Vista and drivers and not all the bloat ware that came with my computer? I think somewhere I read that the recovery cds are meant to return your computer back to factory default (and this kinda scares me...).

If it says factory default, it almost certainly means with bloatware. The only company I've heard of that gives you the option to not install bloat is Levono...and I've only heard ONE reference to that so I don't know if it is true.

I don't have that laptop but from past experience of all of the other laptops that I've had the recovery cd's will basically reimage your hard drive and not give an option on what you can and cannot install... Unless you want to wipe out the entire drive... I would definately wait to get a confirmation from someone else if you have any reservations.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong or something is different with this laptop. -
