    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had come across a keyboard protector for SR290.
    Also any recommendations for cases?

Is the hard drive and ram easily accessible or do I have to do a complete opening of the case?

    Thanks!!!!!

    Upgrading RAM:
    User Manual for the SR290.
    http://www.docs.sony.com/release/VGNSR200series.pdf

Here is the support page for the SR290.
    http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-documents.pl?mdl=VGNSR290&LOC=3

Page 20 shows the bottom of the SR290 and which panels reveal hardware etc. There are other diagrams/images in there as well. It looks like you just have to remove a panel on the bottom to put in new RAM.

    Cases:
I would say figure out what kind of case you want and then people can recommend some. There are sleeves and laptop bags, bookbags with laptop sections...etc.

    Keyboard Cover:
    http://www.allfreeship.com/shopexd.asp?id=2469

I don't know anything about the cover...just something I found when looking up. Others might have better recommendations.

I have a ZeroShock III case for my SR that works very well. See pictures here.

I use the 13" sleeve from Sony. It also has the case for the power brick.

Are you talking about he VAIO VGP-AMC1?

Does anyone have any inputs on the AMC1? I am thinking of getting a simple sleeve just to carry around inside the back pack.
