I am having problems playing DVDs on my sony vaio sz4 while in speed mode. Stamina mode works mine. Somehting to do with the permission of the card or something. Trying to find updates for the driver, but had no luck at laptopvideo2go since i have no idea what driver to download or how to install it. any idea where to get a self-extracting drvier update for the card?

Go back to laptopvideo2go, and download the driver, the modded INF, and read the Quickstart guide. That should work fine with your Go 7400.

If you did not remove the recovery partition, you can reinstall WinDVD from there. Just run VAIO Recovery select Reinstall drivers and utilities, check the WinDVD in the list of available software and install it.

    Good luck,
