    Hello just found this site after trying everything to find a solution to my laptop issue, i have a sony tz21 with onsite support but sony wont help, its been downgraded to xp and have a problem with the microphone not working, i have tried reinstalling the drivers but nothing works, any ideas would be great,

    Could it be that there is a Sony power application that turns devices on/off outside of the device manager, etc.? Also, how did you uninstall the drivers? It may be worth another try to boot into safe mode use CCleaner, and uninstall/install as it will clean up the ruminants. Hope to help. Good luck.
