    sony vaio 650n/c extended battery is blp9?

    I bought the VGPBPL9 and it says on the box: "Compatible with SZ6 series and upper". However, it is unclear if the battery will actually work on previous SZ models. I have a SZ120P/B. On Sonystyle.ca, they say that the VGPBPL9 is compatible with SZ series (no restrictions mentioned). I am confused.

    i have gotten the blp9, it's 11.1 volts compared to the standard batt at 10.8V. i's working fine, wonder if im killing my comp by having that extra voltage output.
