What else has been done to this machine? Was there an attempt to set it up for dual boot? Was a different OS installed?
Gary -
You can use a free program called PartEdit32 to enable this hidden partition. All you have to do is set its type to 0B, then you can run the system recovery program.
Good luck. -
I don't want to enable this partition. i want that my machine boot from it.. :-?

Morandi3,
You didn't answer my questions above.
Gary -
just windows vista was installed, but i've try to manage my partition (not hidden partition) with Paragon Partition Manager, but i haven't touch the recovery partition.

Obviously, Paragon HAS. It would seem that Paragon has messed with the MBR in some way. I am not certain what the F10 function built into the BIOS is expecting in the MBR or elsewhere, or exactlly how it goes about envoking the startup partition. But to be honest even if we did know, I am not sure who you would now go about undoing what Paragon has done.
Did you create the 2 DVD recovery set when you first got the machine? If so you can recover using that. It should also restore the F10 functionality as well, because it completely overwrites the entire hard drive.

i don't have recovery disks

Don't know what to suggest then. Sony makes it abundantly clear that the first thing you should do is create the recovery set. Without it, if the recovery partition is messed up, there is no way to return the machine to it's out of the box state.
You might contact Sony support and see if you can buy a recovery DVD set. But I have no idea if they offer that or not.
Sorry, but I know of no way to undo what Paragon has done here.
