These are very good prices, actually too good to be true, I fear that you may get scammed. Where did you find these for these prices?

I tried to buy at clearance club the first time but they really suck! I found the 195 at amazon. It's a refurbished/repackage.
I don't know if i want to add a hundred dollar more and go with clearance club again and go through the hassle. 64 + 200 HD sound like a big upgrade compared to just 1 48SSD.
Do you think i should buy the 198? thanks -
I would pay the extra $100 and get the TZ198, which has a 2.5" 200gb HDD instead of the DVD drive in the TZ195 and a 64gb SSD vs 48Gb. Its extra money well spent.
I never use the DVD drive in my TZ and wish I had a 2.5" HDD instead. The TZ198 also has a burgundy lid vs premium carbon in the 195.
The 198 also is supposed to come with an external DVD drive but yours may not come with it since your buying it used/refurbished right? -
I just received my tz195 and i check the space... 18 is already used up? what is going? i have about 36 gigs of hd left.. is this right? Plus when i click try to load something the cursor jiggle/vibrates.. does vista do this kind of thing.

You bought it for $2000 correct? May I ask where? -
I bought it at amazon.com, there no space at all.. i might return it..

Strange, the TZ195N/XCs on Amazon right now are priced at $3339.60, I guess you bought the last of the cheap ones and were removed from the site.
Anyways, you got an EXTREMELY good deal on it, you saved a lot of money.
You can remove the Sony bloatware, do a clean install of Vista and free up several gigs of space for one thing. Lots of help on these forums and others here share your problem with their SSD TZs having little space to work with. -
For me it is good. I love it. I had the TZ170, but there is no comparison. The SSD is so much faster. I paid around $2K, so it was worth it to me. Of course I would like the 64Gb version, but the 48Gb version is much more available. The TZ198 is nice, but I want the DVD drive. With the portableone disk, it removes bloatware as well as the recovery partition. With all my programs, and resized photos, I have about 20 gig left. Not a lot, but adequate for a portable.

Thanks for your guys response, i'm not sure if i want to keep it. I think i should return it. everything works perfect except the space. Do you think i should go through the hassle with clearance club and buy the 198 or should i keep it? I scared to get ripped off...\\
edit: where do you buy the portable one cd? what does it exactly do? does it remove all the bloatware with vista install. i like vista better than xp right about now. -

Those are the discs that will install a clean Vista OS on your TZ, saving you several gigs of space due to Sony's huge amount of adware, bloatware, etc. -
Hey, do you know if i need a copy of vista because it didnt come with a vista cd.... thanks so much for your help!
Edit: I really don't feel like spending 30 dollars on this cd which i know i probably can do myself. Should i just download a copy of window vista and just do a fresh install? Do you think it going to get complicated with the drivers or would vista help in the drivers automation? Thanks again..
