    sony vaio automaticly boots recovery center

    hello, i hope that i'm openning this thread in the right forum...

    i'm trying to help to my friend , he have sony vayo laptop .
    he had windows vista OS , and upgraded to WINDOWS 7
    the installation well done, but when its finished and restarted , its restarted to sony vaio recovery center, instead to windows 7 ..
    there is any way to disable that or something , and make the windows start up normaly ...

    Hmm, I thought it'll go into Recovery only if the F11 key is pressed during boot up?

    Also, if he upgraded to Windows 7 and has no need of Vista (assuming that's what the recovery partition contains), why not remove the recovery partition? I believe, when installing Windows 7, it's possible to clear the partitions...

    i afraid that i will not able to restore the computer after i'll delete the recovery partition...

    Sure he can, he installed Windows 7, not using the recovery partition right? If he tries to use the recovery partition, he'll get back Vista, no? :)

    the problem is that now he cant even restore the vista somehow, its telling that accour an error ...

    If I were him I would reinstall Windows 7 and completely clear the hard disk of all partitions.
