    my sony vaio computer is about to die, i am wondering if i can still run it off the ac adapter and i also have my computer set on power save will that effect my computer in a bad way if my battery dies ?

    What do you mean about your Vaio dying? Did you mean the battery? If so, just replace the battery.

    yea my battery is dying but can i still run it with a dead battery using my ac adapter

    Do you have a good source for replacement batteries? I haven't been able to find anything through Sony's site and I'm not sure if any of the ebay sellers are legit. Thanks,
