So I just purchase a new power adapter for my sony sz650n. Its the kensington Wall/Auto/Air Ultra Portable Notebook Power Adapter seen here

    http://us.kensington.com/html/13874.html

I been looking around for the right power tip to use. Kensington suggests the N27, all I could find in the bag of tips that came with it was the N27B, so I been using that. Is it the same thing? It just seems that the tip does not go all the way in and is quite loose, since its quite bulky, it tends to bend to the sides due to the cable, so now my power port seems to be a little bent too. Any idea where to find a better tip that fits more snuggly? Any way to hack and use my OEM power adapter tip and chop it up?

When I bought mine the closest thing to fitting my SZ was the N4 which was a bit loose and would disconnect at times. I called them up and asked for the N27 and they sent me one for free. It dosen't fit as well as the original as it's longer and seems a bit wobbly. So if you want can get the N27 for free not sure it's gonna be any better than what you already have though.
