How are you hooking up to the internet. Meaning is this happening only on your home network. Is it happening at multiple locations. Go into device manager and uncheck anything in power management for your wifi. Go into power options and put your computer on high performance. Go to the Sony Vaio support site and select the driver page for your model and version of operating system and make sure you are running the wifi software listed there. If this does not solve the problem post back with an answer to my question.
