    Hi,

after one year and three month my vaio gets much hotter than before. Is there a service kit with new fan and filters? Does anybody know how to open the case without breaking it?

    Thanks for any help

    Service kits?
    Fans and filters???

What planet do you live on? Or did you take that from cars??

Basically - open any flaps that you can - then use some canned air (tends to be Butane oddly enough in a lot of cases...) blow out any dust - ideally keep the fan from spinning.

What will also work ONLY, and ONLY IF you can keep the fan from spinning - place a vacuum cleaner next to the vents and draw air through the laptop and dust into the vacuum cleaner.

Actually, a good service kit is....a can of pledge and an old t-shirt...for the table the notebook sits on. Getting rid of that dust is something I see people don't do as much as they should. They clean the notebook but not the surrounding environment. Seriously.

There is for example a M780 THERMAL MODULE and hundreds of other spare parts. Laptop repair is a business in tough economic times.

I am looking for instructions how to open the case in order not to break anything!

Why do you need spare parts?

Just open the flaps and take off the keyboard - that should be enough - you do not need to take it apart more.
