    hi all .am new to this hope you can help.my sons laptop dosent work .ok when last turned off but know not.turns on and you get the battery light on and the bluetooth light too.the green on light on.nothing on the screen.battery light flashes.have tried another battery and charger ,also plugged another screen in.any help would be appreciated as has my sons school work on.thank you dave

    If you don't see anything on powering up, or if the screen characters are distorted, or see lines in the display, you may have the bad NVidia graphics chip problem. Your computer model can have this problem

    This is a know problem and Sony is fixing them under warranty. Here is the European link:

    By your model number I am assuming you are out of the USA.
