i have a vaio vgn-tx770p/w that i wanted to upgrade to vista, just to see how it handles vista (i do have 2gb ram). i couldn't for the life of me find all the necessary drivers on sony's website, and the cryptic descriptions of the drivers is terrible. i ordered the vista upgrade companion cd from them, and the upgrade went very smoothly.

the drivers that i could never find were for the eject button, the fn buttons for brightness and wlan/bluetooth, and now they all work great!

it's well worth the $9.95 + shipping + tax if you're gonna spring for the pricetag of vista, to spring for the companion cd from sony, if it supports your model. i received mine 1 week after placing my order.

also, this companion dvd offer is only for US customers.
