My Vaio VGN FJ3SR has been experiencing strange behaviour with sound. First, the internal microphone stopped working very well (the sound was too quiet), and either did the inline microphone give a good sound. But then it became hypersensitive, so if you turn the volume on, you get the funny screeching sound coming out of the speakers. The microphone even "hears" you adjusting the screen angle and the speakers give as loud scratch. Turning the volume down in Windows didn't help (and the problem didn't go away when Windows had to be reinstalled). Another funny thing is that if there's a video application running and I try to adjust the volume with Fn + F3/F4, the computer maxes out and works very very slowly.

    Any ideas would be appreciated!
