    stamina/speed switch not working after clean install

    I performed a clean install of xp on my sz110/b and everything works except for my stamina/speed switch. It used to prompt me to restart the computer and now it doesn't. Does anyone have a fix for this?

    restart and look where the small green light is...it has to be on the same side as the switch

    Hi.
    Re install Vaio Power Management ( you can download from Sony website). It will prompt you to restart computer everytime you slide the switch. Hope this help

    Are you sure it isnt switching after a reboot? Mine used to ask me also, until I did a clean install. Now I switch it and reboot. Works fine.

    I have a Vaio VGN-120p & I am facing the exact same problem as Jeffe but I cannot find the Vaio Power Management software on the Sony site could someone be kind enought to send it to me Via Email or upload it somewhere for me ? or maybe a link
