i was getting fed up with all the naff stickers on the fw....(the intel ones and the other ones) i decided to get rid off them only to be left with sticker residue..

    WD40!!!! its a miracle cleaner!!!

"Goo-b-gone" has a much better, orange, smell and is made specifically to remove sticker goo.

I use white spirit to get rid of sticker goo

If you want to get rid of the smell just go over it with some soap and it gets it off nicely because WD40 is oil based

you tend to use so little wd40 to remove the residue that it shouldn't really smell...

i know my laptop doesn't smell at all...

I used a small amount of rubbing alcohol and it worked great.
