Had my SZ on order since last week. The estimated shipping date was yesterday. Watching the status online, it was marked as "out of stock". I called yesterday to confirm what was happening, and the rep said that it was about to be shipped from the wearhouse or something, and that it'd be shipped in 24-48 hours. The parting words were "you can check the status online".
I check the status after the call, and it's still "out of stock". And if you used the shopping cart, it said that stock was expected on the 16th. Now later yesterday evening, I check the status again, and it's still "out of stock", but the shipping date had now become "unknown"!!!
...but I get on today, and it's happily showing as "shipped", with FedEx tracking number, etc etc. So, it is in fact all groovy, and the rep on the phone wasn't lying.![]()
It's like as if it was ordered when they were out of stock, and the stock they were getting in sold quickly or something. Strange that the order status on my particular order is altered by the general stock quantities.
Anyways, it's just a tale of bad site notifications, call them if in doubt.
Just thought I'd pass on the story.
