    hello everyone, am using a sony vaio (17 inch screen) which suddenly developed a green vertical line. just bought it last april 2007. tried all there is available (software downloads online) and nothing seems to work. anyone ever succeed in removing one? methods i tried are the massaging, the jfixcreed, updfix (something). can anyone suggest something else? thanks..

    send it for service! include photos with the laptop whenever you send it and demand that the screen is replaced. they will do it in a blink of an eye.
