i'm planning on buying an sz with everything(2gb ram, top cpu available, etc) and was wondering if anyone here with a similar spec sz can tell me how the new supreme commander demo runs on it? i don't care if the settings are all on low, i just want decent frame rates.

i was worried about the 7400go vid-card slowing it down.

I have SZ with C2D 2.16 GHz, 2GB RAM, GeForce Go 7400 card. Tell me how to get the demo and how do you want me to benchmark it. I will do the test for you.

Sorry dude, I have to take it back. The file is 1 GB, a bit too big to download. I thought it would be like 100 or 200 Meg. But while I can't help you testing this game, I can tell you that SZ is not a great gaming laptop. Quake 4 is rather slow, perhaps 20 to 30 fps, even at the lowest resolution and lowest details. Tomb Raider Legend is also slow. I have to play it at 640 x 480 without anti aliasing. Kind of suck to see the jaggies. Unreal 2 is acceptable but have to set the graphic detail at medium, 2x AA, 640x480 and I got like 40 to 45 fps. Unreal 1 at 1280x800 is silky smooth constant 60 fps (vsync on), but if I use 4x AA, it drops to 30 fps.
