    i was wondering if you can connect an sv160 to say tivo,dvr etc ,i'd like to bounce some of my tv programs to my laptop for storage/burning/viewing etc

    any help,gladly appreciated

    Yes you can. I have my Tivo connected to my SZ.

    You will need a Tivo compatible network adapter.

    After connecting your Tivo to your home network, install this program http://www.tivo.com/4.9.4.1.asp
