CompUSA has them in some stores. There's a massive component supply issue going on I think.

They're OOS on the site but many stores have some. The only reason I can see for taking down the link is if they're expecting long-term supply issues. I have a question into their PR people, so we'll see what they say.

They were supposed to allow orders again starting March 22 and have delivery by March 29. By this change of events its obvious Sony foresees the SZ to be delayed at least several weeks to over a month. We'll probably see the SZ for sale by Sony in May if we are lucky. By then we will all have moved on to Dells new laptops (out this week) that include Core Duo and all the extras Sony is offering.

Check your local SonyStyle store for the SZ160, I bought mine from there after returning my other one to FRY's.

The have a 5 year warranty for $189 exclusive to in-store purchases made at SonyStyle.

Plus I got a free espon printer.

what dell dude? i'd love to see what they are offering. but they usually arent as slick and light as the sony's. If i Believed apple was going to offer a sub 4 pound model in the next 6 months i'd get that

The SZ is so well positioned, if they actually were available anywhere, I'm sure Sony would turn a ton of them. If Fujitsu could get a video card in their S, Sony would have some real competition. Nothing else on the market really hits the same blend of power and portability.
