    sz camera- is anybody actually using it?

    I'm asking this becauase I have yet to get it to work consistantly with any IM programs. It doesnt work with my AIM(newest dload), Trillian, etc. Besides taking goofy pictures of myself I don't see any use in it.
    If anybody got it to work consistantly, let me know how.

    I use my camera for all my IM programs. I cancelled Trillian because it doesnt update when MSN,Yahoo,AOL does. I sign in individually. I have used it with Skype also. Works great.

    As far as how I got it to work, I am not sure what yours is doing. Are you taking pictures and video doesnt work? I just installed the programs from the VAIO support site.

    yup and it works. I mean I can snap pictures with it, but when I try to make a video connection it tells me it fails. I'll try again later and see the exact error message I was getting.

    use it for MSN Messenger, no problems whatsoever, to set it up all i did was click on msn where it said start a webcam conversation.

    I also use my SZ with MSN instant messanger 7.5, no problems when I click "send video" or something after connecting with my friends. Sorry I can't give better description, my VAIO is at work.

    EDIT: I use the web cam 3/4 times a day with no problems.

    i also use the webcam for MSN IM and skype, works without a hitch.

    maybe it's not configured properly?
