What is the difference between carbon fiber and premium carbon fiber? Sony describes it as:
The Sony VAIO® SZ Premium SZ491N/X notebook also features a cutting-edge carbon fiber casing. During the molding processes, a gelcoat resin is applied to the carbon fiber casing of the SZ491N/X, exposing the multiple layers of carbon and providing a cool brushed look and crisscross pattern.
So it's just basically the looks? Any other advantages?
Also, the VGN-SZ480 that is customizable on sonystyle is a carbon fiber one right, just like the VGN-SZ450N/C to the VGN-SZ470N/C ? And the only Premium carbon fiber model is VGN-SZ491N/X ?

this is probably a good read as what gel coat resin doing when being mixed into carbon fiber

Has anyone ordered an SZ480 yet? According to the description on sonystyle it reads:
"Carbon Fiber Casing
The VGN-SZ480 CTO notebook is constructed of space-age carbon fiber casing. During the molding processes, a gelcoat resin is applied to the carbon fiber casing, exposing the multiple layers of carbon and providing a slick brushed look and crisscross pattern."
