does sz series notebooks generate a lot of heat?

how heat it is in general when compared with other notebooks?

I have an sz340 notebook and its just 2 months old, I could feel that its more hot when compared with the initial days!!

    how abt other sz owners?

    thanks.

usually as time passes dust clogs up the vents of the fans thus increasing fan actiivity and making the laptop a bit hotter in general you could try cleaning the vents by blowing compressed air through them which may mostly unclog the vents and let better airflow

Compare to Asus W7S, it is much cooler.

Before I got my SZ VGN-433, I actually went to do some research and the hottest is Asus W7S. Actually full load with 70 - 80C is alright. If you worry about the heat, then get a notebook cooling pad, it will help coz SZ hard disk is at the bottom.
