I'm trying to get my Treo 650 to sync with my new SZ260 and am having nothing but troubles.
I can't get it to pair via bluetooth, (it sees it but immediately says pairing failed when I click on connect.)

Also can't get it to connect via the USB cable.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!!!

I beleive that you have to initiate the pairing from the mobile phone. If you initiate from the computer it turns it into a modem connection. Good luck. Bluetooth still seems far more difficlut than it should be.

    This is wierd.
On the Treo I get the screen to enter a passkey.
    I enter 1234.
The Sony pops up and says:

"The device properites was set as the Non-Pairable mode."

Does anyone know how to pair a bluetooth device with the SZ360? My bluetooth mouse paired fine, and the Treo still owrks just fine with my old laptop.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks!

I've got my Treo 650 pairing with my new TX850 just fine. Actually doing ANYTHING with the pair seems impossible. I think I have DUN set up correctly but it never lets me connect. I called Sprint and they say that's because I don't have the $25 a month DUN option on my account. But sounds like everyone and their mother has this working fine under their basic Vision data plans.

Hotsyncing just simply fails each time. I think I may need to use a different virtual com port than the dialup connection, but I can figure out for the life of me how to create another one.

The notebook is awesome. I generally love the Treo. The combination is a clusterf--k from hell.

OK, I got the Treo working as a modem and I got it syncing, both via USB, bluetooth is still not working for either. What a major pain. I've spent ages trying to get this working. WTF???
