If I were to use something like partition magic and half the main partition so that I can have other virtual drives::

    1. Will the recovery partition still work?
    2. Will it destroy your created virtual drives if it does?

    Thanks!

    1. The recovery partition is on a hidden partition not associated with the one that you see in My Computer, so, yes.
    2. I don't know exactly what you are referring to, but, if you are asking what will happen if you do half the partition, then you will simply end up with 3 partitions, 2 of which you can see in My Computer.

There should be no reason why it won't work. But, yes, as long as the recovery partition did not have anything wrong with it to begin with.
