This problem has bothered me since I have installed the windows7 rtm.

i am using integrated graphi card, everytime when the machine wakes up from sleep, and if the external power is unpluged, the screen starts to flicker, and windows 7 reports "displayer driver stopped working and have been recovered", looks like a driver problem, but i have downloaded from the driver from sony website and intel website, none of them solves this problem.

anybody has encountered the same issue? please help.

The screen will flicker as the Intel Power management crashes the driver while trying to change the refresh rate.

Go into Control Panel and open the Intel® GMA Driver for Mobile applet
Go to Display Setting on the left side.
On the lower right corner, click”Power Settings”
At the bottom select “Modify Settings”
    Uncheck EVERYTHING.
    Press Ok
    Press Ok
    Press Ok
