    Hi everyone,

I have VGN-Z620D running Vista, and there is a problem with the touchpad. Sometimes when the laptop wakes up from sleep, the touchpad stops responding completely. It does not happen always but still often enough to be annoying. After a restart, the touchpad works properly again.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thanks

    Happened just now?

Check if the device is being "powered off" to save battery and also try updating driver.

    cheers ...

Thanks for the reply. The driver is up to date. How can I check it's being powered off?

I probably should mention that sometimes, when the computer wakes up from sleep, it can take a while before the mouse/touchpad start to respond normally.
