    Hello all,

I have a Sony VAIO VGN-SZ4MN/B laptop and the touch pad keeps on working in reverse i.e. left = right, up = down, etc.

It happens randomly but is becoming more frequent. The problem occurs from when I start the computer and when I restart it sometimes decides to work again normally.

So far I have tried rolling-back the driver software but it had no effect. Therefore, I am thinking that this may be a hardware problem?

Does anyone know why this is happening? Even better, does anyone have a solution?

Your help will be greatly appreciated! This problem is really annoying!
