i installed the Infineon Security Platform Software on my sz250p and I was wondering if anyone has or is using this? Did you decide to uninstall it? if so why? Does it do any good to have running?

Don't use it and never have.

As soon as I got my SZ, I made the restore DVDs and then did a Restore C: Recovery option. Interrupted it after the initial restore of XP so it didn't restore all the bloatware. (Which included not restoring the TPM software)

I don't have any problems using passwords and don't have a real need to use the TPM.

At what point specifically do you stop the restore to avoid installing the bloatware? But while still maintaining the sony software to manage wi-fi etc?
