Hello, I'm using Vpcea33en which don't have turn off power button. so, is there anyway that I can configure one of my special buttons to turn off monitor by calling program(mapping) or any method which can turnoff monitor. I have seen some vaio laptops which came with "Display off" button.

any suggestion can be appreciated .

    thanks and regards

In the Vaio Z, doing a registry "hack" (more like changing values) to the brightness controls fixed this by making the value of the lowest setting of the brightness control zero. So that when you lower the brightness all the way down, it turns off the display. I'm sure this is possible in the EA too, but i don't got one to see how exactly to do it.
