    Hi
The specs say that the memory is upgradable to 1GB; the store
guy said it can go upto 2GB. Is the 512MB that is comes with built into it or regular chip? I'm looking at prices to see how much it would cost to upgrade the memory on it but I'm not sure how much it can handle.

    thanks
    lg

Go to crucial.com, they have a little program that can scan your computer for what you have and can handle. Or go to sony's site and download your manual, it should say too.

Never trust the kids in the stores selling laptops. :D

You can go up to 1.5, the 512 is not removable.
