My vaio txn25n has 80gb (Toshiba mk8009gah) with bad sectors and I got rid of it replaces with 5th generation iPod HDD (Toshiba mk8010gah) during installing vista Business it showed as "unallocated space" which was non formatable neither partitionable. Then I got a new iPod classic hdd 120gb (Toshiba mk1231gal) which shows ERROR "0200: failure fixed disk" at bios and while installing same way it shows same unallocated space and not letting me format or make partition.

Are these both compatible hdd's,if yes then what is the solution?
