I am about to upgrade my hdd to 7k200 100gb. since I have to re-install my OS, I'm going to try the vista ultimate with some tweaks.
here's my question, I read somewhere that the TZ has better battery life under vista since the sony power management only works with vista. is this true?

I have the XP right now and I'm getting about 5 full hrs with wifi on, bluetooth on. with standar battery
I also just bought a small battery from Japan to replace my standard battery. my standard battery's release button cracked.

    can anyone help me decide?
    thanks

Where did you purchased the the computer. If it's in US you can call sony support for a battery replacement if the release button is cracked
