    up to now, can anyone unlock wwan on Vaio Z2 for overseas carrier? i.e. I can insert overseas sim card when I travel to overseas with my Vaio Z2

    As far as I know the old one click internet won't work... but, the same idea should work. Get the drivers and software form Sony EU and install them, then you should be able to use any carrier that is supported over there.

    Remember that the GOBI is not locked, you just need different drivers and software.

    If can simply install EU version software, then we should not have the problem of not having Verizon in Vaio z21 model as posted in other threads. I am thinking to buy a Vaio z22 model but I travel a lot to overseas so I want to be certain it will work with overseas' SIM. I really dont know why Sony not allowing us to use any SIM cards we want.

    There is no problem running Verizon on the Z2 now that the software has come along to allow us to do it. That is my point, the card is not locked, you just need the right combination of software for the carrier you desire to use.

    That is how One Click Internet worked on the older models.

    i'm using Z2 with verizon right now, since there are only company that offer no contract plan.
