I have the VAIO VGN-AW11Z with NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT and I can't update the driver with the latest one from site of NVIDIA version 260.99 for win vista 32bit ,also there isn't possibility to update the vista to win 7. I'm very dissapoint with product of Sony and I'll never bye any SONY product.
If anyone can help me because some programms who work ask to me to update this driver to work properly.
    Thank you.

You can install windows 7 on a VAIO. You need to get Win7 standalone and do a fresh install however, so you will need to back up everything you want to keep which can take some time.

As for the driver updates, I can never get them to work properly but there are ways to "force" the installer to work. Check out the overclockers.com forums as a start point...
